(Hi my name is Ryan Friedland and I have been learning Morse code the past couple of weeks.)

In Morse code every dot represents 1 unit of time, one dash represents 3 units of time or 3 dots. A dot is a short tap while a dash is a long buzz. In text a slash represents a space, while coding to someone a space is represented by 3 units of silence, the space between each letter in a word is 1 unit of silence.
